Update: 3_0_0_7 should fix the MFD problem and the afterburner getting triggered on MSR/MSL. Also I've added a new XML for anyone who has the Thrustmaster Combined Device showing up in position 2. That file is layout_solarfly_tm2_rud1.xml. You can still overlay this with any of the other rudders.
Changes in 3.0
CIG deleted almost all of the default bindings. If you discover an issue with a binding please let me know.
Mobiglass (F1) is toggled with ENG Motor down/normal. Sometimes the game gets confused between starmap and mobiglass being opened or closed.
Starmap (F2) is toggled open/closed using ENG OPER IGN Right.
Clear the waypoint by short-pressing LTB (Red pinky button on throttle)
Engage Quantum Drive by long-pressing LTB
Hat1 is now used to pan/yaw the view inside and outside the cockpit.
Castle (H3U/H3D) used to zoom in and out.
Cycle All Targets Forward moved to H3R
Cycle Pinned Targets moved to H3L
F4 cycles the camera view, while F3 switches between orbit or fixed camera view modes
F5 is Ship Ready
F6 Power Toggle All
F9 Open/Close all doors
F10 Lock/Unlock all doors
H is used to exit your ship seats (the old CIG default was Alt-F or F long press, then they made it H so I kept it)
T should control the lights on the ship now, same as the suit
Remapped C, V, T, comma, period, 2, 3 and numerous other old defaults. C will toggle your Coupled mode if your controls get inverged.
Flight / Aim Sensitivity
CIG changed the feel/behavior of flight and it has made targeting really difficult. I experimented for some time in Arena Commander and came up with new defaults in the pilot_settings.tmh file. I feel that FLAPS DOWN is the best for fightership dogfighting, which softens the curve and increases the stick zoom. I've slightly adjusted the XML to try to fix aiming a bit. But I encourage you to play with the settings in Star Citizen and if you come up with a good one for a certain ship, please contact me on Reddit /u/solarfly73.
Flaps Up: Curve 0, Zoom 0
Flaps Middle: Curve 1, Zoom 0
Flaps Down: Curve 2, Zoom 1
Pinky Switch back on throttle enables VIEW mode, which is now the only way you can look around the cockpit. You can use the Joystick Hat1 or move the joystick itself to look around. CIG forced this. You cannot currently look around the cockpit while simultaneously retaining flight control.
EAC-ARM puts you into Inner Thought mode. You can look around with the stick or Hat1, and make selections with the joystick H4P (thumb press), to toggle power or open the cockpit, for example.
Weapon and Defensive Systems
MISSILE TARGET LOCK and LAUNCH relocated to the Joystick red button. S4 (the paddle) no longer used.
FIRING 2ND WEAPON GROUP: use your thumb down on H4P, which used to be Shield Reset.
Shield Reset to center no longer bound. You can still adjust the faces by the H4U/D/L/R.
Modifying power distribution with the keyboard was broken by CIG. If it's fixed in Alpha release, I didn't test it. It is still part of the profile but may not be working. Workaround is to look at the panel in your cockpit and use the mouse.

LAUNCH COUNTERMEASURES now on S3 (pinky on joystick)
Toggle Lead/Lag targeting reticule moved to throttle CHF short press (red china hat near your thumb)

Afterburner Toggle Mode! Use EOLOVER (Engine Left Override) position on the throttle so your afterburner kicks in when SPDB is held, and releases when let go (this has been default behavior since 0.8). Use EOLNORM (Engine Left in Normal position) to use SPDB as a toggle for afterburners. This allows you to keep burning while turning... there, I said it
ALT/HDG + Engage for PRE/SCM removed, as this is no longer an option in 2.6
Quantum drive removed from PATH+Engage (see above)
Cockpit/External Camera view (Hat1) zoom/pitch toggle moved to EOLMOTOR and removed from PSF. All camera/view modes now on the Left ENG toggle on throttle. Some people liked zoom shift via PSF, so in a future release I'll add a pilot_settings option so you can do that if you want.

Thank you all who have sent me your kind words and thanks. I feel really good knowing that my work has improved the fun and enjoyment of Star Citizen for others. MFDs are optional. You must edit pilot_settings.tmh in TARGET Script and set USEMFD to 1.
